Alphabet Imagination Story
This is in a class of "create your own" story, good for family, or other groups of more that three people. It's also a good way to test your wits (who can come up with the next line)
The way this works is one person starts the story with a sentence beginning with the letter "A", the next person continues the story with a sentence beginning with the letter "B" and so on, until one person can't think of another line.
You can make it into a game too. Like, giving time limits on how long someone cat wait before thinking up of another line, or they loose if they use the wrong letter in the alphabet, or don't know how to spell. Not that I'd know anyone who would loose to that...
Example story
Aliens are coming to visit!
Bad news, don't you think?
Cheer up, it's only a visit
Duh! But what if they over stay their welcome?
Examinations anyone?
Fred, that's sick!
Gee, this is starting to be creepy.
How about we go meet the aliens now?
Intriguing, they look a lot like us.
Just because they look like us doesn't mean they are like us!
Kind of like our friends up north?
Looks like they're just immigrants from Canada.
Maybe, but why did they come here?
Not that we know why we're here too...
Okay, maybe we should get a map..
Proudly lost I'd say we be.
Quit being so cheerful!
Reality rocks man!
So, now what?
Take the road less traveled by, you said!
Unless we can find batteries for our GPS, we're lost...
Victory!
Why didn't I think to check my flashlight for batteries?
Xenophobia acting up again..
You need to see a psychiatrist.
Zoo would be better...
Another adventure wouldn't hurt
Board I be, let's do something else..
Cat got your tongue?
Dude, stop the story already!
Excellent idea.
Finally!
You get the basic idea. As you can see, this story is more of a game than an actual story. It can be fun, but don't beat it to death!
